Our Dogtra 175NCP is the entry level Dogtra collar but don't let that low price or entry level fool you.

I have personally used the Dogtra 175NCP to train over 100 dogs in my dog training business as well as have sent many units home with clients for continued use in their home training.

The Dogtra 175NCP dog training collar is an electronic collar as some may refer to as a shock collar. 

However, when used properly as when my clients have been shown is very humane and much better for a dog than a choke collar or even a traditional flat buckle collar. 

There is no yanking on a dog's neck and the 400 yard range is perfect for almost all home owners.  That is 1/4 mile range.  I'm sure most of you probably don't expect to be farther away from your dog than 1/4 mile unless you are a hunter and then in that case you are probably look for one of the hunting lines.
